Wow.. I was the participant in SO many miracles this weekend! Starting with Friday:
So.. we had to run to wal mart because we were fresh out of toilet paper (oops..) and plus we needed milk like whoa.. Sooo... after we get the Tp I start towards the Milk not wanting to get distracted. *which is pretty easy..* "milk, milk, milk, milk.." I keep thinking.. "Uhm.. Sister Brimhall?" 'What?! who KNOWS me here?' I look up, and guess who I see?! Sister Renee Sanders from Springfield, My first AREA!!! I was thrilled to see her! We stood and chatted for a while, I have been thinking about her for sooo long.. I was sooo Happy! That was only the beginning..
Saturday was Lynn's Baptism! It was wonderful! absolutely wonderful. The spirit was soo strong.. lots of members showed up.. Sister Gurney and Myers came! So that was fun to see Sister Gurney again! Plus I got a Phone Call!!! Elder Ensign informed me that in Mount Vernon, LUCAS WAS GETTING BAPTIZED!!!!!!!! After soo many painful turns in the road! What a blessing!!!! So I called President and asked if I would be allowed to go! He said of course! YAY ME!
Sunday started really rough.. we only went to Sacrament meeting because Sister Louderback was having a REALLY bad migraine.. Sooo.. I took her home and had Carrie, our investigator come over and massage her neck. She really helped make all the pain go away. I think that the blessing from Brothers Pluim and Morgan helped a whole lot too.. Any way so the time came that we were going to drive out to Mount Vernon, HOORAY!! I really felt that I was driving Home... I was really soo excited and full of joy! I knew that it was going to be a great day. As we got closer and closer to Town Square, I started to get giddy! haha.. I am such a nerd! Any way. We pulled into the Grooms Drive and I wanted to cry! I was SOOO happy and full of joy and love.. and EXCITEMENT!!! Makenzie and Easton were out side when we pulled up, and they started to jump around! Then kenz took me to the door.. which was locked? And BREEZY AND THE REST OF THE GROOMS COME RUSHING THROUGH THE DOOR!!! talk about a WARM welcome! :) Best day of my life! Even Lucas was excited to see me! I Gave EVERYONE hugs and Nearly fell over with so much happiness! Man I wish I had other words to describe it..
Any way.. so we sat around talking for a while, and then we had to go.. oh.. can you feel it? another miracle coming on.. Brother Groom let me drive the COBRA!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was soooooooo excited! it was the smoothest best drive of my life! There was a dream come true! I'd never driven a mustang.. So that was great.. Well.. we pulled up to the church and it was probably a good thing that no one was there yet.. haha.. Soo many familiar faces! The Wozniaks, Grooms, Bundy's, Coopers, Rhines, Groshongs, Peirces, It was SOO GREAT! Took lots of pictures and felt the spirit SOO strong. Lucas is such an amazing kid. He bore his Testimony at the end, and it was incredible. So full of love, and the spirit. I am so lucky and grateful that I was able to come back and witness it.
Any way. After a WONDERFUL time there, I had to drive back home. Saddest day of my life. I cried the whole way home.. blah.. soo.. Monday. Uhm.. bad news bears.. we did a little contacting, and then went home for lunch, well Sister Louderback was in such pain in the car.. I tried to get home as fast as I could.. she went up stairs.. I thought I'd give her a moment.. but then I felt the prompting to get up there NOW. So, I headed up stairs and she was bawling.. so much pain! So I sat with her and tried to comfort her, get her mind off of the pain, but it kept getting worse and worse.. so I called Brother Ballstead and Weller and they came over to give a blessing.. I called Sister Jensen and told her that we needed to get to a hospital or Urgent Care.. But because it was Memorial day, they were all closed. (except the Hospital of course!) Right after her blessing, I had the Brothers help us get to the car and I drove straight to the ER. Well.. we got her in, and they said that the Migraine was brought on by heat exhaustion and Dehydration. So they got an IV in her and pumped alot of drugs in her to get her relaxed and to fall asleep. We got a CATSCAN and everything was fine. She just needed those fluids like WHOA.. I felt like mother with a sick child.. I was in such pain to see her hurt. I think I cried just as much as she did.. When we got home, the Budges (who were supposed to have us over for dinner) brought us dinner in a little picnic basket. My spirit swelled with grattitude and the notion. I felt so blessed to be part of a ward who would do anything for us. Because of their examples I want to do the same for others. I hope that I will be a good, kind, loving person to others.. You can kick me if I'm not. :)
Well, she slept a long, LONG time, and we decided to come to the library to update this and to email our families that we wont email thurs, but wednesday instead. :)
What a joy to know that Heavenly Father has blessed us with the Technology to help even with migraines! He truly loves us!
