6 weeks and what do I have to show for it?

Well.. I have been home officially for 6 weeks. I have:

• spoken in church (twice..)
• received a calling (Mission Prep Teacher)
• Went on Vacation (San Diego)
• Seen Wicked the Musical
• Moved (into my Sisters house)
• And still don't have a job...

So life as it were is going...

My sister and brother in law hooked me up with a computer and a sweet bed room set! It's Zebra print! any one suprised??

So I'm excited for my Mission prep class.. I was sustained and set apart today and received my manual. So I've been skimming through that and trying to understand my purpose. Thank goodness for manuals. It gives me something to go off of! As I was being sustained, I could REALLY feel the spirit confirm that this was a calling I could do and that the Lord is 100% confident in me.. it was really powerful..

Carrie Griffy was confirmed today! My heart swells with joy at being apart of the many blessings that have taken place in my life! I love Carrie and I know that the Lord is very pleased!

Well I'm off for now.. I am going to watch Ghost Hunters International with my mum and dad and kevin!

San Diego

Hello from San Diego!

I am here with Bethany Kenny Avery and Rylan Hinch.

Day ONE:

Drive here : Bring stuff up to the Hotel Room.. Stinks like smoke.. we'll move tomorrow

SEAWORLD!! that was an adventure! I got a really REALLY pretty necklace of a seashell with diamonds.. Spent the evening there giggling with my sister and taking silly pictures..

Day TWO:

The world famous San Diego Zoo! That was fun mostly becuase i was thinking of the time when I went to the Columbus Zoo with my last district! There were Giraffes and Zebras and tigers! all my favorites! it was loads of fun. Then we came home and went swimming and i got a sweet burn slash tan.. that was pretty rad.. what an adventure there.. first of all we didnt have our key to get into the bloody area, so this really nice lady let us in.. so the kids are in the pool for like five min before Rylan starts freaking out about how he has to poo! So im trying to come up with a plan to execute.. well i asked my cute chinese neighbor if he will let us back in.. he said yes.. so we went to the main office and he got to use the rest room.. then We headed back to an hour in the pool.. soo i totally burned. any way. then we headed over to see Ice age three.. it was really funny! i really enjoy those movies! hehe..

Tomorrow is Day THREE.. we are going on a tour of San D.. the beach and also a naval ship im sure. I am totally planning on a henna tattoo.. if not. I will cry.. ALL THE WAY HOME. After all that we are heading home.. YAY!!

Happy 4th of July!

Happy Fourth!!!

Today is Independence day! Yay Us! It's because of our earliest fathers(Lehi and Nephi) That we have the freedoms we do! God promised them a land that was perfect.. and we've inherited it! We must remember thought that we have to be righteous in order to contain it.

I love this day.. It reminds me that freedom isn't free. We have to stand for what we believe in.

Today we had a Rockband party! Dad on Lead vocals, Bethany on Drums, and Brittz (thats me) On lead guitar! it was pretty much the best ever! :)

Tonight i'm going to play volleyball with my Singles ward! Wish me luck! i'll need it!
